A classically trained actor, Amanda received her MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University, BFA in Acting from the Southern Oregon University, and has studied abroad at the Moscow Art Theatre. Originally from Hillsboro, OR, she’s now based in Chicago.
In Chicago, Amanda has worked with Lifeline Theatre, BoHo Theatre, Organic Theatre Company, Stage 773, Circle Theatre, Along the Way Productions, and Auditorium Theatre. Additionally, she has performed with Bag&Baggage Productions, Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre, Oregon Children’s Theatre, and an extended run at the International Center for Puppetry Arts.
Amanda is also the Creative Director of Along the Way Productions, providing freelance arts administration services to arts companies, schools, and non-profits with everything from graphic design to grant writing. She is an accomplished teaching artist, specializing in multidisciplinary arts programs. She enjoys vegan cooking, yoga and wellness, photography, adventures, and streaming way too much amazing television.
